Carl Jones, DDS, MS

Carl Jones graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2010 and stayed in Los Angeles for two more years to do a hospital based general dentistry residency. He then moved to Florida for advanced training in endodontics at the University of Florida. He began working at Brevard Endodontics in 2014. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and Brevard County Dental Society.

Kevin Kunz, DDS, MS

Dr. Kunz grew up in Michigan. He received his BS at Brigham Young University and earned his DDS from Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Upon finishing Dental School, Dr. Kunz served in the US Air Force for 9 years. As part of his service he also had the appointment to teach and train dentists on performing root canal therapy, as an associate professor with Uniformed Services University. After graduating, he expanded his clinical abilities with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Eglin Air Force Base, near Destin, Florida. Dr. Kunz spent three years of general dentistry at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. He then specialized in Endodontics at the UTHSCSA & US Air Force Post-Graduate Dental School.

Dr. Kunz has performed thousands of endodontic procedures and will be Brevard County’s first endodontist to offer Targeted Endodontic Microsurgery (TEMS). Dr. Kunz earned Board Certification in 2017 from the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Kunz has volunteered endodontic services all over the world and, for the last several years. He has served people in: Samoa, Tonga, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, and in extremely remote areas of the Navajo Indian Reservation. This tradition of service will continue long into the future.

Dr. Kunz enjoys golfing, baking, cycling, relaxing at the beach, attending sporting events, and spending time with his wife and four children.



Steven D. Smith, DMD

Dr. Smith grew up in Boulder City, NV. He received his BS at Southern Utah University in 2009 and earned his DMD from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2013. After graduation, Dr. Smith moved to Jacksonville, Florida and practiced general dentistry until 2017, when he began his endodontics residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln. He is married to Amanda, and together they have 2 sons and a daughter, Declan (4), Beckett (17 months), and Daphne (17 months). He is excited to leave the cold and move back to Florida.
